Field Research for the Metodo Art Brut Project, a European Union Project in Which our University is a Partner, Conducted at Kırklareli Provincial Health Directorate

A meeting was held in the Safiye Ali Hall at the Kırklareli Provincial Health Directorate campus; with the participation of the Acting Provincial Health Director Dr. Aylin CAN, Kırklareli University project team members Dr. Lecturer Alaettin İŞERİ and Dr. Lecturer Doğan ÜNAL, and social workers and psychologists working in health facilities in Kırklareli city center and districts.

The meeting initially included a general introduction to the project, the art of Art Brut, and the aims and implementation processes of the Metodo Art Brut Project. In the second phase, focus group discussions were conducted with our healthcare professionals working with vulnerable and disadvantaged groups regarding their experiences, perceptions, and challenges in the areas of inclusivity, creativity, and mental health. In the final phase, joint assessments were made to strengthen inter-institutional cooperation in this field, and an exchange of views took place with the participants.
